En 2019, Don Valentín, acompañado de su esposa Doña Irma Hernández, marcó el inicio de un sólido camino, el camino hacia la preservación de su legado. Doña Irma, a su vez heredera de otro ilustre linaje del Mezcal, rememora con orgullo a sus ancestros que, hace dos siglos, destilaban Mezcal en «Guieusiin», lugar que presenció el devenir de generaciones, desde su bisabuelo Don José Hernández hasta su abuelo Don Reinaldo Hernández, hoy en día Don Hermilo Hernández es venerado en el palenque «Gracias a Dios» por los hermanos y la madre de Doña Irma, Doña María Santiago. Así es como, en el paraje «Leen brush», se atestigua el entrelazamiento de dos grandes familias Mezcaleras, forjando el Palenque «Guardianes del Mezcal».
In 2019, Don Valentín, accompanied by his wife Doña Irma Hernández, marked the beginning of a solid path, the path towards the preservation of his legacy. Doña Irma, in turn heir to another illustrious lineage of Mezcal, proudly remembers her ancestors who, two centuries ago, distilled Mezcal in "Guieusiin", a place that witnessed the evolution of generations, from her great-grandfather Don José Hernández to her grandfather Don Reinaldo Hernández, today Don Hermilo Hernández is venerated in the palenque "Thanks to God" by Doña Irma's brothers and mother, Doña María Santiago. This is how, in the “Leen brush” area, the intertwining of two great Mezcal families is witnessed, forging the “Guardianes del Mezcal” Palenque.
